TIPS FOR TESTING YOUR VEHICLE


To see if your cigarette lighter/power outlet is functional with the ignition turned off, simply remove your ignition key and push in your cigarette lighter, or insert an electronic device, such as a cell phone or portable CD or cassette player (Note: Make sure your electronic device is drawing its power from the cigarette lighter/power outlet and not from its own batteries.)

If the device works, then the Plug-N-Protect Alarm Indicator will work in your vehicle.

PLUG-N-PROTECT
 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

To turn on and activate, simply insert the Plug-N-Protect Alarm Indicator into your cigarette lighter/power outlet until it starts blinking.  To turn off, either remove the Alarm Indicator completely, or just remove it slightly until it stops blinking.  If your cigarette lighter/power outlet is located inside a pull-out ashtray door, you may be able to leave it plugged in and operate it (make it visible) by simply opening or closing the ashtray door.
